"Safe Spaces, Supportive Classrooms: Effective Prevention and Intervention Strategies for Peer Bullying" is a five-day professional development course designed for teachers, school counselors, Principals, and support staff working in primary and secondary schools within the Erasmus+ framework. This course aims to equip educators with the knowledge, skills, and strategies to prevent and address peer bullying, creating a safer and more supportive learning environment for all students.
Course Aims:
To understand the complex causes and effects of peer bullying on students' well-being and academic performance
To develop a comprehensive prevention and intervention framework to tackle peer bullying in schools
To explore evidence-based strategies for promoting a positive school culture, social-emotional learning, and empathy among students
To enhance teachers' skills in identifying, responding to, and documenting incidents of peer bullying
To facilitate collaboration among educators, parents, and other stakeholders to create a cohesive anti-bullying approach
Course Structure:
The course will include the following activities:
Interactive lectures and discussions on the nature and impact of peer bullying
Group work and role-playing exercises to simulate bullying scenarios
Visits to schools with established anti-bullying initiatives
Collaborative planning and development of personalized anti-bullying action plans
Networking opportunities with European colleagues and experts in the field
Learning Outcomes:
Upon completing the course, participants will be able to:
Design and implement effective anti-bullying strategies within their classrooms and schools
Recognize and respond to incidents of peer bullying in a supportive and empathetic manner
Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes social-emotional learning and empathy
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to create a comprehensive anti-bullying approach
Reflect on and adapt their teaching practices to better support students affected by peer bullying

Volunteers from Romanian, Maltese, and Spanish NGOs.
LANGUAGE
All courses will be held in English. When requested, the courses can be held in French.
PRICE
Each course is 300 euro per participant.
The courses last for 5 days, 6 hours per day, and it offers networking opportunities and cultural programme to create European dimension and find possible partners for future projects.
Each participant will get a course attendance certificate and the Europass Mobility Document.
ACCOMODATION
We do not directly offer accommodation and subsistence and participants. We can suggest you a few verified hotels.
PAPERWORK
We provide all the support with paperwork you might need for your Erasmus+ project documentation such as mobility agreement, registration letter, etc.
CANCELLATION POLICY
You can cancel for free up to 30 days prior to the event. After this period, reservations are non-refundable. Name and participant profile changes are allowed at any time before the course begins, and substitutions from the same school/organization are accepted. If a replacement isn’t found, we will offer a spot in any of our confirmed courses later in the year at no extra cost, although we cannot guarantee the availability of every course session. In the event that a participant can’t attend or we can't hold the course due to extraordinary circumstances (as defined by the European Commission) occurring less than 30 days before the start, we will retain 50% of the payment and refund the remaining 50% to the payer’s bank account.
